At TMC, authenticity is everything, and there is nothing more authentic than true, real-life love.
From first dates in England to a dream mountain elopement in Queenstown, Sky and Jack have spent more than 12 years growing through life’s milestones side by side. We are honoured to have played a small role in their journey, and we are beyond excited to share their story.
Their Journey
We met as teenagers back in England in what was very much the era of Facebook romances. What started with a Facebook poke and plenty of chatting quickly turned into first dates, and we’ve now been together for over 12 years. We’ve grown up side by side through so many of life’s milestones - from school and first jobs, to buying our first home, moving to Australia, travelling, and now getting married.
After more than 12 years together, we ended up saying our vows during a mountain elopement in Queenstown, New Zealand - our dream day to celebrate everything we’ve built together.
Designing The Perfect Rings
We both wanted rings that felt timeless and suited our own styles.
I actually chose two wedding bands because I loved how they looked stacked with my engagement ring. My main band is the Classic Knife Edge Ceremonial Ring in 14K Yellow Gold, alongside a customised Freya Ring. Together they felt elegant, balanced, and completely me. Jack often jokes that I have expensive taste, so the fact I somehow turned one wedding band into two was probably inevitable!
Jack chose the Brushed Soft Chamfered Edge Men’s Ceremonial Ring. He loved the brushed finish as it keeps things really understated - nothing shiny or “blingy”, just a simple, low-key style that suits him perfectly.

Crafted for a Lifetime
For me, it’s how perfectly the two bands work with my engagement ring. At the start of my search, I struggled to find a wedding band that I felt paired well with my engagement ring. The customised Freya band feels like it was made for it and I get so many compliments on the stack.
For Jack, it’s the simplicity of the design, but also how much he could make it his own. He was able to tailor everything - from the depth of the ring through to the level of brushing - to get something that felt just right. It’s understated, comfortable to wear every day, and very “him”.
