A moissanite is its own unique gemstone, just as sapphires and emeralds are their own unique gemstones. Moissanite, however, boasts a similar durability to a diamond, as well as an uncanny visual resemblance to a diamond, making it the perfect alternative for bridal jewellery.
Moissanite is a more affordable option when compared to cultured diamonds, ranging between $1,200.00 and $5,000.00+. Moissanite allows you to indulge in your dream ring design and a larger carat size, without exceeding a reasonable budget.

Carat
Carat refers to the weight of a diamond. Moissanite and diamonds don’t weight the same, so we place emphasis on the phrase carat equivalent. Our carats of moissanite are determined based on the visual appearance of the diamond carat equivalent on the hand. This means, if you’re choosing a 2 carat moissanite it will visually appear the same on the hand as a 2 carat lab diamond, irrespective of the actual weight.
Colour
Colour refers to a gemstone's natural colour, not the coloured flashes of light the diamond emits when it moves, known as fire. Colour is graded alphabetically from D (Colourless) to Z (Light Yellow).
Lab Grown Diamonds
We primarily work with IGI and GIA certified lab grown diamonds that range between the DEF colour range, to ensure the whitest and brightest appearance.
Moissanite - Colourless
Our signature Eternal Brilliance Moissanite is D - Colourless. This is the most diamond-like, and the most beloved moissanite gemstone colour choice amongst our couples.

Clarity
Clarity refers to the inclusions found in a gemstone. These can occur during the growth methods utilised when created in a laboratory. Our Eternal Brilliance Moissanite boasts a clarity of VVS1.
Faceting
Faceting refers to how the gemstone has been cut and determines the internal appearance of the stone itself, rather than the shape. Moissanite gemstones can be cut and faceted to change the stone’s overall visual appearance, including its fire and brilliance.
Bespoke Customisations
A bespoke customisation is the perfect way to add individual flair to your dream ring. Choose from a pavé band, hidden halo or pavé bridge. These customisations are available in both moissanite or lab grown diamonds.

Yellow Gold
14 karat yellow gold is made up of 58.5% pure gold, and 41.5% alloy. 14 karat is a beautiful yellow gold option with a soft, golden hue.
18 karat yellow gold is made up of 75% pure gold and 25% alloy. 18 Karat has a slightly richer yellow tone.
Rose Gold
14 karat rose gold contains 58.5% pure gold and 41.5% alloy, primarily copper. It has a beautiful soft and subtle rose colour.
18 karat rose gold contains 75% pure gold and 25% alloy, primarily copper. 18 karat rose gold is more lustrous and has a deeper rose hue.
White Gold
Both 14 karat and 18 karat white gold look identical in appearance, as they are plated in rhodium. Just like their yellow gold counterparts, 14 karat contains 58.5% pure gold and 41.5% alloy and 18 karat contains 75% pure gold and 25% alloy.
Platinum
Platinum is a naturally white metal, is denser and a more durable metal compared to its white gold counterparts. Our platinum is of the highest purity, 95% pure platinum and 5% alloy.
Precious Metal Type
Our engagement rings are crafted utilising the highest quality Australian and responsibly sourced precious metal. Choose from 14 Karat or 18 Karat Yellow, White or Rose Gold or Platinum.
We can also craft your dream ring in one solid precious metal or two, known as a two-tone setting. The basket will be crafted in platinum (PT950).

Band Width
Most of our signature engagement rings can be crafted in a variety of band widths to suit your individual preferences.

If you choose a gemstone over 2 carats, the minimum band width is 1.8mm. Your ring will be crafted with this band width as the minimum unless selecting our 2.0mm option.
Please note, some signature engagement ring styles have an intentionally thicker band width that is standard to the design. This cannot be altered.

Faceting
Faceting refers to how the gemstone has been cut and determines the internal appearance of the stone itself. Unlike diamonds, which are cut to maximise carat weight, moissanite gemstones are cut and faceted to maximise the divine fire and brilliance we all adore. Depending on the chosen cut, two stones in the same shape can appear quite differently, as the contrast between white light and the dispersed coloured light within the gemstone also differs.
Brilliant Cut Faceting
The brilliant cut is optimised to refract the most light, and therefore sparkle the most. Light will go down into the centre of the stone, reflect off of the clear and precise facets, and come back out through the stone.

Crushed Ice Faceting
A crushed ice moissanite stone has a multitude of small, randomised facets within the pavilion of the stone. Typically, the light will reflect multiple times inside the stone, sometimes exiting instead of reflecting back up.

Old Mine Faceting
Old mine cut moissanites have a beautiful, unique appearance that dates back to an era when diamonds were cut and polished by hand. Their deep, large facets produce a unique fire, giving the cultured gemstone a softer look than modern brilliant gemstone cuts.

Old European Faceting
The old european cut is a round gemstone cut. Primarily cut between 1890-1930, this faceting type has a softer look than modern brilliant gemstone cuts and is easily recognizable by the small circle at the centre of the diamond's table.

Rose cut gemstones boast a domed table covered in distinctive triangular facets. The fewer facets of a rose cut diamond result in the subtle beauty of a soft diffused light - a divine choice for those dreaming of something truly unique.

Step cut faceting is distinctive to the Emerald and Asscher cut gemstones wherein the gemstone is produced with flat steps or 'rows' of four-sided facets parallel to the girdle. Striking and regal, the emerald cut is reminiscent of the 1920's era.
