Cut
Arguably the most important of the four C’s, cut refers not to the shape of a cultured or ‘laboratory grown’ diamond, but the balance of proportion, symmetry, and polish. This means the quality of workmanship directly correlates with the beauty of the stone - with the cut determining the brilliance, fire and ultimately, the sparkle of your beautiful engagement ring.

Colour
Colour refers to a diamond's natural colour and should not be mistaken for fire, the coloured flashes of light the diamond emits when it moves. Within the GIA Grading System, Colour is graded alphabetically from D (Colourless) to Z (Light Yellow).
We work with D and E coloured laboratory grown diamonds ensuring the brightest and best quality stones. Also known as ‘colourless’ diamonds, these divine gemstones are simply mesmerising. We also offer a range of fancy coloured lab-grown diamonds.
Clarity
Clarity refers to the inclusions found in a diamond, also known as the small imperfections found within the structure of the diamond.
Since a lab-grown diamond is created with advanced technology mimicking the natural growth process of a mined diamond, these inclusions can occur when the gemstones are exposed to metal traces utilised during the HPHT growth process or mineral inclusions from the CVD growth method.
Whilst this is something to be cautious of when sustainably crafting a lab-grown diamond above ground, it also allows better mitigation of these issues in a controlled environment.

Carat
Lastly, Carat is simply how much a diamond weighs, with one carat equalling 200 milligrams. The larger the carat, the larger the gemstone, and with all else being equal, the higher the cost.
Whilst lab-grown diamonds are more expensive than moissanite, ranging between $4,000.00 and $15,000.00, they are still significantly more affordable compared to their mined counterparts. This means they are a perfect choice for somebody who desires a real diamond with ethical origins and who is looking to indulge in a larger carat size.
