While the solitaire is defined by a single stone and a single band, no two silhouettes in this collection look the same.
For Solitaire Silhouettes, we’ve explored the proportions and construction of the classic form, considering the relationship between the centre stone, setting and band, and how subtle changes can alter the overall silhouette. From tapered and reverse-tapered bands to low-set, bezel and split-shank designs, each ring offers a different take on the solitaire.
The result is five distinct silhouettes, each designed around the same enduring principle: one stone, set upon one band. A simple composition, defined by proportion, shape and line.
