Prongs, also known as claws, are the elements that wrap around the gemstone and secure it perfectly in place. Inspired by the curved petals of a flower, petal prongs (also known as a tulip setting) is a Bespoke Customisation where the metal prongs and the basket beneath the stone are thoughtfully sculpted to create a romantic, nature-inspired aesthetic while securely holding your precious gemstone.
This ornate prong style is particularly beautiful, as it is a hidden detail. Similar to a Hidden Halo, these contoured, petal-like prongs can only be seen when viewed from the side. A secret sentimental addition, to make your ring truly one of a kind.
